In exercising our empowerment within the LAUSD Pilot School proposal the staff, parents, teachers but most of all students would like to request Superintendent Deasy to return Suzanne Blake to Los Angeles Central HS #9 (aka VAPA HS) to complete the work she set out to do in 2009. There was no reference to the Pilot School proposal when she was egregiously removed with no input from those directly affected by her leadership. The school's name was unceremoniously granted to the very person who granted a long term position to Principal Blake at this $230M state of the art campus and then had her removed clandestinely overnight. Now, the namesake has retired, the replacement prinicpal has left LAUSD, and the most welcomed interim principal has a term limt therefore; it is the right of the staff, parents, teachers and students of VAPA HS to request Principal Blake back into her original planned position by LAUSD and its stakeholders.
