Downtown Indianapolis redevelopment continues at full speed, with an emphasis on making the city core more and more livable. A CityTarget would help fill a significant gap in downtown shopping, offering new and future residents a chance to shop for everyday items, including limited grocery, with a known contemporary brand and in a retail setting with an urban sensibility. With large retail spaces available in the city core - notably in and around Circle Centre Mall - a CityTarget in Indianapolis seems possible.
