I see these things everywhere on the beach its gross. lets get rid of them.
finally. other cities have been doing this for years so why are we so far behind?
15 cents is nothing. lets just ban them entirely already.
its about time vancouver did something about all the bags in the ocean. so tired of seeing them stuck in trees around the city.

Plastic bags cause so much damage to our environment , oceans and marine life that it's unbelievable that in this day and age we continue to use this product which can easily be replaced. I think the majority of people want change and policy makers are very slow to respond. All scientists agree things need to change in order to stop global warming. Vancouver as a coastal city should be the leader in bringing this change about to ensure a better furniture for generations to come. We all have a social responsibility to protect our oceans and environment which is critical to our survival.
