Welcome Zoners and MPlus Members Today we have brought you here to ask for your help. A GREAT travesty has been done to an incredible member of our MPlus community. Our wonderful host and friend +_MistyDawn_ is leaving the hosting world. A little explanation is due here. As we all know the zone has undergone MANY changes as of late and due to this many new tourney guidelines have been instilled. With this comes changes in our vast list of tourneys offered but also what comes with this is the loss of one of the longest running ALT formats and a wonderful host - +_MistyDawn_ A bit of history on our friend Misty is in order. When she first joined the zone in May of 1999 she was just LuVrs_Corvette. What a lot of you don’t know is that Misty has some health problems. Misty and every member of her family suffer from Hemochromatosis, which is a type of hereditary iron overload in the body that affects the way blood rejuvenates and can cause serious injury to the major organs in the body. Only one of her children is in more serious condition right now though and in need of heart surgery as we speak. Misty also had a stroke in December due to this disease and yet 2 days afterwards was back to hosting with her co-host. With all of the problems that come from this disease, Misty has found a home away from home on the zone and within hosting to take her mind off these things. Due to this disease, daily treatments are needed, putting major time restraints on when Misty is able to host. Now in the new guidelines for tourneys it states \" 1 tourney per time slot during off peak hours \" So with that it means that Misty\'s tourney time slot, which she has carried for over 2 years, had to be removed. This is a GREAT loss to those of us who have followed Misty\'s tourneys for years and have grown to LOVE the outrageous formats What we are attempting to ask here is that the Zone Higharchies see that this is a MAJOR injustice to someone who has served the zone and members selflessly for many years. Misty has been known to spend MANY hours training new hosts and prospective hosts, as well as putting in many more hours attempting to ensure that the already tokenized hosts have the information needed to be a good host. She has done this without asking for anything in return and was a major part of this community. So we ask you now to sign our petition to BRING MISTY BACK. We have to be heard here and let it be known that the zone higharcies are forgetting who made this community what it is today.
