William Pannhlaing is known at Willard Straight Dining for his tireless work ethic, cheerful nature, and eagerness to get things done and done well. We, the part-time student employee body of Cornell Dining at WSD, would like William to have the chance to return to WSD, as he is not only vital to the success of the dining hall but also well-loved by all.

We believe that William was treated unfairly in being given a medical release; while he has asked to avoid the kitchen due to the high heat, he has never complained about ailments nor indicated a desire to take a leave of absence from the job. William is perfectly able to do his job as he has done for years at Willard Straight and there has been no decline in his performance. As his medical release was unexpected, unrequested, and undesired, we ask that the Union help William recover his position at WSD.
