I have seen a number of people across Twitter at least who, like me, have been wanting to see the possible release and/or development of a fourth installation of the video game series Dead Space. Dead Space 3 was the last game in the franchise for release, and whilst it's reception may not have been great, it still gave us a great storyline and really gave characters such as Isaac a chance to really develop from the voiceless puppet-like character he was in the first game. Dead Space 3 could be used for Visceral to discover where they may have gone wrong, i.e. mechanics used in the game, amount of horror used, etc. and improve on that, just like how they went from one level of horror in Dead Space 1 to the fundamental levels of horror in Dead Space 2. It doesn't help that with the DS3 downloadable content levels "Awakened", we cannot truly accept that the story is over, especially with the threat of the Brethren Moons now coming into realisation. Surely these three games haven't been leading us to try and end humanity, have they? With the cliffhanger "Awakened" gave us, we still have a lot more story to go into, and I want to enter that story. What do you guys say?

I have been reading through the comments and it is clear that the cliffhanger ending of Awakened still haunts all of us. We deserve to see the conclusion of Isaac's journey after everything he has endured.

Seeing this level of enthusiasm for Isaac and his story hitting such a meaningful milestone is truly incredible. It proves that so many of us are still hauntingly attached to this universe and refusing to let those Brethren Moons end the journey here.

Please make Dead Space 4. It's about time to bring Isaac's story in full circle. I've said this before, and please forgive my over-excitement, it would be really neat to be in the role of Ellie Langford for the fourth installment.
still playing dead space 2 multiplayer on ps3. i have not played a better horror game period. also i am still trying to beat hardcore. DS3 took too much away from the isolation and survival aspect. isolation was best in DS1.
A truly brilliant trilogy. We need a dead space 4 on next gen. make it more like the first two. Loads more horror please!!!!!
This is one of the most atmospheric sci fi series out there. A marvel, and truly deserves more attention. And if returned to the original roots of the first game, could be a awesome current gen horror! #DeadSpace4 #MakeUsWhole
The story needs to be finalised. Dead space 1 and 2 are up there with my all time favourites. Just replayed one recently on Xbox one and even almost 10 years later the game is still fantastic. Itching for dead space 2 to be released on Xbox one. And I will play 3 again. But 4. Pleeeeeeeeeaase. We need to know how it ends!!
Dead Space is unlike any other game! The weapon mechanics combined with suit abilities form an arch of greatness upon an unbelievable storyline. There are so many opportunities for this game and it hurts to not to see more! I love the series, The people love the series, bring life to the Dead Space Universe! If not for me, do it for Ellie and Isaac and carver and all those characters that are lost and waiting to be found!

This is the first game I ever played. I learned and cut my teeth on this franchise. I was not a gamer until then. I own everything that I've been able to find when it comes to Dead Space. Please give us more. A reboot, something. I want more, I'm a loyal fan and I feel we deserve more when it comes to this franchise. This is truly a horror game. Necromorphs, can't live with them and can definitely not live without them. Thank you.
