We are disappointed to hear that there will no longer be finisher t shirts. We get that it's not about the t shirt and TMs true badge of honor is the headband and mudder legion, but the t shirts do more than we think you realize. The t shirts promote solidarity. We can't tell you how awesome it is to walk around town and have some complete stranger stop us on the street to ask us how the event was or to shout out the location of their race. When we go out to eat or to the store we have had countless conversations with fellow mudders all because we had the shirt on. TM promotes solidarity, which is something that most other mud runs don't do. We are a proud bunch who connect over this amazing experience. We identify each other by the shirts. By taking these shirts away you are in essence killing the solidarity that takes place off of the race course. We dealt with the ridiculous bag drop fee and the wonky parking set up, but this is a change we cannot support. Bring the shirts back.
