Bring the Waverley back to Helensburgh - Restore our pier!

It’s a historical berth for the Waverley and it’s important that clydeside kids see this living museum so as to undersythe way things used to be.

We love a trip on the Waverly as a family and it would be sad not to visit Helensburgh

Helensburgh without a pier is a Helensburgh without its soul!! Why not go further and turn the basin into a small marina to generate some income which in turn will help pay for the pier repairs.

A fabulous day out last year on the Waverley, leaving from the pier. Think of the loss to local trade, dare I say again.............

We need the pier repaired as it is important that the Waverley continues to come to Helensburgh. Helensburgh needs the tourists.

Lets get the Pier fixed. And make Helensburgh great again.

Very short sighted to let this crumble away

I used to live in Helensburgh and I would hate to think that the pier may go. It has to be saved.

Town wouldn’t be the same without it

Please fix the pier, it will be such a loss to Helensburgh.

The Waverley and other boats like it bring, or could bring, with the correct amount of advertising a substantial amount of tourist traffic to the town centre of Helensburgh. It is vital that the pier be repaired and the channel kept clear to allow the boat to dock in Helensburgh.
