Bring the Waverley back to Helensburgh - Restore our pier!

It a disgrace the council has ignored our heritage like this a seaside town our forbears must be burlin'

This pier should never have been allowed to fall into such disrepair. We are in danger of losing all visitors to the town:(

It would be tragic if A&BC just let the pier fall into any more disrepair. The Waverley is the highlight of the summer and it is a wonderful sight to see with lots of people on the pier and along the front watching it. The pier should be restored for the future generations to enjoy. We here contribute to the council So it is time they spent money here in upgrading - the money spent on the hideous face on the council buildings could have been used to start the repairs.

It is very important to Helensburgh life, economy, etc. Part of recent history that should continue as long as possible.

We need this great ship returning to Helensburgh it’s part of our history and helps to support tourism in the area. Come on Argyll & Bute get your Act together and get this pier repaired and open again.

I will be 60 this year and the Waverley has been part of my life during that time. She is synonymous with Helensburgh.

Helensburgh needs as many facilities and attractions as possible-we want to thrive, not degenerate as a hometown and as a visitor destination - The Waverly and pier is crucial to this

It's criminal that the Waverley can't get in to Helensburgh this summer.

Bring back the Waverly to helensburh It is part of the peir

Helensburgh is dying on its feet, losing the Waverley could be the last straw.

We want the Waverley to continue to be one of our tourist attractions and for our children and grandchildren to enjoy this beautiful paddle steamer especially when this is something our local schools teach them about.

We need a North bank Pier

Helensburgh pier should be restored, or, at the very least, made safe for the Waverley to pick up, and drop off passengers. Also for the townspeople and visitors to use it, SAFELY!!

They have let Craigendoran piers go to ruin beyond repair now they are doing the same to Helensburgh.

Spent many years in the town while in navy subs and the pier is so much a part of Helensburgh

She is such a part of Helensburgh and needs to stay part of our lives
