It's only $4 to get downtown and I paid around $600 a year for parking when I lived DT. If you do the math you can go out nearly twice a week during both semesters and it balances itself out. Plus my rate is cheaper at UP and it's cleaner. Good luck though guys!

This bus was a major selling point for me, and it's terrible how this corporation flat out lied to its customers. This is not only highly illegal, it's ethically dispicable.

I believe the new UP management approached this situation unfairly and wrongly. One of the reasons why many people including myself choose to live in UP this year was because of the promise to have our own bus only for UP residents on Thurs-Saturday nights. I think that they need to look into this and actually go through with the plan to have this bus (or at least lower our rent for this false advertisement). The UP management was wrong to think that the current transportation situation is "adequate" with the OCCT and BC Transit Routes. First off, BC Transit stops its service to UP at 8:40 M-F and earlier at 5:30 on weekends. How is this "adequate" if most of usually go downtown later than this on the weekends (10:00PM-even 4:00AM)? Even the OCCT bus doesn't help in this situation because by the time it gets to UP, from campus, it is filled to the brim and they don't allow anyone to even board at UP. So this too is definitely "not adequate." I believe the new UP management should really look into this situation again and honor the bus route as what was advertised. Us residents would really appreciate this. Please do the right thing.

There should be buses as it was promised and advertised when signing the lease. Not only is it considered as false advertisement but it is at our inconvenience to not have a bus taking us downtown. Please take consideration of this issue!
