Hot Pockets used to be a symbol of microwaveable greatness. Hot Pockets originally came with a signature crisping sleeve—a cardboard pocket that distinguishes the identity of the Hot Pocket.

But now?

No crisping sleeve.
No sealed pocket.
Just a sad, soggy fold of crust in a plastic wrapper.

I understand shrinkflation. I’ve seen cereal boxes get thinner, chips become mostly air, and ice cream tubs slowly shrink. But this? This is outrageous. Nestle didn’t just make the Hot Pocket smaller, but they took away the pocket which was what made the Hot Pocket a go-to portable snack. The cardboard pocket is also the core identity of the product.

What’s left isn’t a Hot Pocket.
It’s a Warm Slab. A Lukewarm Disappointment.
And frankly, we won’t stand for it.

We, the undersigned, demand that Nestlé:
• Bring back the crisping sleeve.
• Bring back the full, sealed “pocket” experience.
• Stop gaslighting us with a name that no longer matches the food.

Until then, consider us betrayed, burned (literally), and hungry for justice.
