I’m not a music student but I don’t think it’s right to charge people for a degree with courses completely irrelevant to it. This is meant to be a university of high academic education, do better.

You can't change the terms of what you said youd originally offer without discussing it with students halfway through competition of a degree. People make long term career decisions and life choices surrounding their degrees and predicted subject choices, it's not fair to change the terms mid way through.
