Bring the international stream back to Absolute Radio

Gutted. Being an ex-pat, this was the best way to have a little bit of home. Can't stand the local stations, DJs are awful and there's some rule about having to play a certain percentage of Canadian artists. There's only so much Celine Dion, Bryan Adams, Rush and Nelly Furtardo you can stand before you go crazy.

I live in Switzerland and was a frequent listener of Virgin Radio and later of Absolute Radio. I've bought lots of my 700+ CDs and numerous MP3s because auf this station. Because they do not play that eurotrash stuff, Swiss stations tend to play. Geofencing their stream is a bad decision, even economically. I guess, many People would - like me - even pay for the possibility to listen to Absolute...

It's about the music, and also the presenters, the state of radio here in Canada is appalling, and the DJs here suck. The likes of Geoff and Annabel are so very very good, I can't imagine my mornings without them.

They say it's because they use UK advertisers, but a lot of them are international companies like pizza chains, auto makers, Hollywood movies, etc. I am so disappointed that this has happened and the way it was handled. There was no warning on either Facebook or Twitter. I will really miss this station.

Very disappointed by the greed of the new ownership. I have been listening to absolute since the virgin days. My wife and I have discovered great bands like Biffy Clyro, Elbow, and the Kiaser Cheifs by listening to this great station. No radio station in all of the USA as such great programming as Absolute. Very very sad day

I hope the Senior Management that made this decision all got big lumps of coal in their stocking for Christmas. They are the Grinch personified! I've been listening so long I can't even remember when I started!!!

I've been listening to Absolute Radio since it was the Virgin 1215 test signal. I'm absolutely gutted. :(

How utterly short-sighted of Absolute Radio's management to stop international streaming - they must out of their minds. Do they have any idea how many of us listen abroad? Come on guys, listen to your listeners for once. Turn it back on if you REALLY care about the people that have supported you since you were a Virgin

I've been listening since before the name changed to Absolute. To suddenly find out that it has been pulled without any warning was a real kick in the teeth. Please bring it back!
