This is a plea to Honda North America, and Honda Motor Co. Ltd, to bring the Civic Type R to North America. Our market is primed to receive the highest performance front wheel drive car available in Japan and Europe. We, the auto enthusiast of North America, want to show our loyalty to Honda and our commitment of sales to prove the viability in bringing a $30k Civic Type R to our market. So many of us repeat Civic owners have been loyally waiting for the ultimate Civic to be unleashed on our shores and continue to be passed over with a legitimate Type R to call our own. Many of us have been in the Civic scene long enough that we are now at an age and income level to afford the premium that the ultimate Civic will demand. But we are also smart enough to know when we are getting scraps from the table so please do not send us a Civic Si with a body kit without the suspension and drivetrain we yearn for in the Type R, we need the real deal!
