Two months ago, I got charged with 4 criminal charges that got dismissed in court, with the intention ( by the police) of my son being put in foster care. Since that time, I have regained my clear criminal history, submitted a negative hair follicle drug test, completed an one-on-one parenting class, engaged in lots of counseling, and complied with everything the DSS has asked. The DSS has since then denied me daily contact with my son because they said that me telling him that I was praying for him to come home was inappropriate ! Even Stone told me on the phone one day " They are trying to keep us apart mom" Hearing that will break your heart. I have gone above and beyond what is reasonable and asked by DSS for my son STONE to come home. Regardless, they still want my son to be in foster care for at least 8 months. THERE IS NO REASON FOR MY SON TO BE KEPT AWAY FROM ME ANY LONGER. Please sign this petition to show your support of my son being returned home, instead of being stuck in the system.
