I believe this business should be given the opportunity to have a pitch in Kimberley. It would be a great asset to the area.

For the short time I have known Steph I have found her to be extremely professional, both business & customer focused. The original action taken by the Deputy Leader of Broxtowe Council - Cllr Mel Crow, was met with dismay with council officers. The action taken was not done so with the best of intentions concerning the whole of Kimberley, never mind the borough. I am appalled at the way Steph has been treated. The council officers including the Chief Executive have their hands tied, and they are in no way to blame. Steph & I have already had a meeting with the Chief Executive. I fully support Steph and the diversity of business in Kimberley - that her endeavours will bring. I will continue to work with Steph and others who want to contribute positively to our town. Richard Robinson Labour Borough Cllr Kimberley.

Why are the council not supporting a new business set up?? Stephanie could just claim benefits but she is trying to set a great example, be an upstanding member of society and provide for her family, how is it right that the system is the only thing thats stopping her from doing this??

Once a week food truck won't impact significantly on local business. Let this savvy business person have a chance.

What harm can this woman do to existing businesses by trading occasionally? Her customers won't be the ones who want to sit in a coffee shop, they want to eat while going about their day so won't be taking business away from anyone else.

If they had no authority to override the council's decision then the business must be allowed to operate

Give local people the chance to progress and provide for their families. Instead of being on benefits and in poverty. See sense please

Everyone should be given the opportunity to make a living. Probably wouldn't matter if it was a Beauty shop !!!
