we are moving to powell river soon and we have just taken up squash. would love it if powell river could have a court in the near future.

Hi,
My family is considering moving to Powell River and recreational opportunities are a big part of this decision. Squash is a wonderful game for all ages! I've played since childhood and am planning to introduce my nine year old son to the sport in the next year or two. Other benefits of squash include:
- it's an amazing workout
- you can play at any time of the day
- it's a perfect activity for inclement weather days
- it builds community
- it's a relatively easy structure to add onto an existing recreation complex
- it provides opportunities for players to be part of tournaments in other regions
- Powell River could be part of the Coast Squash League! http://coastsquash.ca/
- These types of initiatives will help to draw young families to Powell River which is good for the community and local economy.
