Diamond Bar is in real need of market choices! With over 55,000 citizens and 3,700/sq mi of land, there are only a handful of choices to go grocery shopping. Ralphs, had recently closed in 2011, leaving behind only Vons, Albertsons, and Super H to service the area of North and South Diamond Bar. Diamond Bar fits the demographic that Sprouts can thrive in. With a population median income $20K greater than the national average and with the strong family and eco-friendly value, Sprouts would fit right in and be completely appreciated by the community! Having a Sprouts in the Diamond Bar area means Sprouts would be getting traffic from the surrounding cities of Walnut, Chino Hills, Philips Ranch, Pomona and of course -- DIAMOND BAR. It's also very conveniently located among the 57, 60, and 71 freeway (especially in the North Diamond Bar area where the three freeways intersect one another). Please sign this petition to put your support in for a Sprouts in Diamond Bar!

I was driving past that empty lot near the freeway again today and just kept thinking about how much potential is being wasted while we all drive to the next city over for decent produce. My inbox has been full of messages from people in Walnut and Chino Hills who are just as tired of the limited options as we are, and honestly knowing I am not the only one frustrated by the current grocery situation makes me want to keep pushing this forward even harder.

I honestly cannot believe how many people jumped on board this idea because I figured it would just be me and maybe a few neighbors wondering why we have to drive so far for decent groceries. It is wild to see this much momentum for a simple store opening and honestly it makes me think we might actually get someone to listen to us about the empty spots near the freeways.

Look up cypress.net. According to the redevelopment site they are putting a Sprouts and Cofee bean along with a Ross where Kmart used to be. Hope that is true.

About time we got something decent in that abandoned Kmart lot. It looks so trashy right now.
