While unfortunate for the new family, this was a mistake and has GOT to be corrected! How would they feel if this had happened to them? Two wrongs do not make a right!

I would think a two week time period would be required to adopt out a lost animal. This can easily happen to anyone on vacation and could be easily avoided by having a probationary period or a clause in the agreement stating if within 2 weeks the owner is found... Sophie needs to go home to her previous owners...new owners should know this too & have a heart!!!!
