I really like watching Shining Time Station when I was little and I hope I will see it again on DVD. And I hope one Christmas special called Tis a Gift will be released on Tis own DVD as well.

I've always loved Shining Time Station, just as much as the classical era of Thomas The Tank Engine ever since I was a little kid. Both shows are a couple of my top six favorite childhood shows (alongside these other four shows: The Busy World of Richard Scarry, The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Mickey Mouse Works, and House of Mouse). I still have faith and hope that Shining Time Station can be released on dvd someday. In fact, Britt Allcroft recently said on her Facebook page that she and co-creator Rick Siggelkow are trying to work something out with Hit Entertainment (and possibly Mattel Inc., who I think now owns Hit Entertainment) of getting Shining Time Station either rebroadcast on television, released on dvd, or both. I hope that they will pull through with this. I also think that Shining Time Station should have a UK release, because it wasn't broadcast worldwide when Thomas and the Magic Railroad was released. Yes, Shining Time Station is the American spinoff series of Thomas The Tank Engine, but that doesn't mean that that it fully *Americanized* Thomas. It was created to introduce to other audiences across the world instead of just being popular in the UK alone. The Christmas special episode, Tis A Gift, has always been my personal favorite episode of Shining Time Station, because it was Ringo Starr (my personal favorite Thomas narrator)'s final episode as Mr. Conductor, the songs (including The Hobo Song) were wonderful, the performance of Lloyd Bridges as Mr. St. Nicholas, and the stories of Thomas fitted in to episode's concept and I love the moral at the finish: 'Nothing is impossible, unless you stop believing in it'. I recently read Britt Allcroft's Facebook page and she mentioned that she and co-creator Rick Siggelkow are trying to work something out with Hit Entertainment (and possibly Mattel Inc., who I think now owns Hit Entertainment) of either getting Shining Time Station rebroadcast on television, released on DVD, or both, and her
