"Senior quotes are a universal tradition in almost every yearbook across America and are far more timeless than Centennial High School itself. I suspect that the class of 2017 is losing its senior quote rights because of the mixup and logistical mess that was the class of 2016 yearbook senior qoutes. Many quotes were misplaced, mutilated, or even completely omitted. As a result, the yearbook staff for the class of 2017 has decided to avoid responsibility and want to work less by removing senior qoutes. This is only a suspicion that is telling of the kind of culture and expectations Centennial High School promotes for its students. I am unaware of the full story and situation but any person is capable of concluding that the yearbook staff has reached an unprecedented stage of incompetency that does not represent the values Centennial should be holding. The class of 2017 is being unjustly punished for the mishaps of a few individuals and that is unacceptable."

Senior quotes have been a tradition for so long, and I, like many other students, have been thinking about my senior quote since at least freshman year. It is unfair that the class of 2017 won't get to have senior quotes because of something that happened before we became seniors.

As a class of 2016 graduate my senior quote was something I looked forward to giving for years. Its a tradition that is important to so many seniors and its a great way to have some fun with your yearbook picture. It shouldn't be taken away from the class of 2017.

I have been thinking about my senior quote since the start of high school like many of my other friends. It's preposterous that you would take it away the very chance I get to use it.
