This year's Science and Engineering Fair of Houston was held on the U of H campus, differing from all previous year's location at The George R. Brown Convention Center. The majority of participants agree this change detracted from the fair is many ways. The George R. Brown Center was well loved by participants due to its grandeur, the sense of professionalism it instilled upon the fair, and its specific location in Houston, all of this lost by moving the fair.
