As the mother of a child who competed in both the slam dunk competition and section 1 playoffs and won a gold ball I can personally attest to how exciting and special it was to play at the County Center! Moving this competition will make it less meaningful to our high school athletes and break a long standing tradition. I urge you to move the competition back to the County Center!

I have witnessed for the past 20 years how this location was so important to our team, our students and their parents. The energy and spirit that was generated speaks for itself.

I am a member of the Hastings 1980 boys basketball team which captured a Section 1 title. For my coach and team, the whole point of the season was to have the opportunity to play the the County Center. ANYONE who saw the games we played there remembers what happened. The County Center is where legends are made--legends that last a lifetime. There are ghosts in the building and they will CURSE the people involved in taking a rite of passage for the best of the best.

My son has been dreaming of his chance to play at County Center in the Sectionals since he started playing CYO in 3rd grade- he is finally a senior and now his dreams are being dashed. Please bring the tournament back to County Center!

The County Center is centrally located for everyone in Westchester. We look forward to watching CYO Championship basketball games at the Center.

I have never had children play basketball but have been attending the games at the County Center for six years. I don't understand why anyone would change such a special tradition!

There is little to no public transportation near Pace, as opposed to the train station in White Plains. Very elitist.

Parking is going to be troublesome for many (including elderly who go to watch their grandchildren play) AND seating is VASTLY LIMITED in comparison to the County Center! What has SO MANY people infuriates is the “Code of Silence” and unilateral arrogance that the EC has taken!

Keep the tourney at the county center! The boys wait Years for the honor of playing on the county center court! Don’t take that dream away from them! It’s just not right.
If punishment for no crime!
