I love this event as it's my first full marathon in Malaysia last year. This year I wish to challenge again, but now I can't make it on 10th Oct due to another race registered earlier on that day.

Even if I can make it (I can't due to work) I won't be coming on 10 Oct to show support to all the runners who have to suffer financial losses due to logistic and accommodation arrangements. This is simply ridiculous, Dirigo should never take us 35,000 runners as pawns to suck up to KBS. Haze or flood I can accept, but to please one minister? Get a grip, stop the political interference in sports.

I urge the organisers of SCKL Marathon and the ministry and sports minister to listen to the voices of the people and restore the SCKL Marathon back to the original date of Oct 4. I also encourage all runners to tweet @scklmarathon and @khairykj with the hashtag #SCKLM4October and to post on their Facebook pages messages asking for the SCKL Marathon to be held on the original date of Oct 4, 2015.

It is truly embarassing to claim it the prime tourist event in Malaysia but put the interest of these tourists the last.
