We, the undersigned, hard Working Men and Women of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario and Michigan, request that the band Rush include a stop at the state-of-the-art Essar Centre in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, in their 2015 tour plans.

2015 Will not only mark Rush's 41st anniversary, it will also mark the 40th anniversary of when Rush last played in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, on June 21, 1975, at the Memorial Gardens, with special guests, Joe Mendelson and Trione.

Since then, dedicated Rush from The Soo have had to travel hours to Toronto, Detroit or elsewhere to see their favorite band.

We now have a new, modern facility that has all the amenities and up-to-date features to host big concerts and events. Since opening in 2006, many great concerts have been held at the Essar Centre, including KISS, Motley Crue, John Mellencamp, Elton John, Heart, Three Days Grace and The Tragically Hip. The Essar Centre is also home to the OHL's Soo Greyhounds.

The undersigned request Geddy, Alex and Neil, along with the powers that be to strongly consider Sault Ste. Marie in their tour plans for 2015.
