I'm not from America at all but I completely agree with the notion that we need to get rid of non recyclable materials such as styrofoam trays! I really hope you get enough signatures for this petition and convince your school to fix this issue.

The school is here to help teach our kids about helping the environment but then turn around and use 100's off styrofoam plates daily. Please go back to the traditional lunch trays.

It would be a lot cheaper in the long run to get plastic trays because all of the money spent on getting paper trays will add up and cost more then getting plastic. All of that money could have been used for something else.
