Even though I wasn't there when it happened, I'm glad Mr.morales let everyone express their feelings.

I am a parent of a Milpitas High School student who was at the rally. My other child who was sick at home wishes he was. Mr. Morales expressed solidarity with his students. I cannot tell you how much that means to me as a parent. Unprofessional behavior would have been act totally blind to or oblivious to our marginalized students. I am proud of him.

Its so petty to take away from that powerful moment because of one single word.

Im signing this because our principal stood by us because he believed in our rights as Americans. He had every right to say what he did. He is human he has freedom of speech just beacuse he is a principal doesnt mean anything there have been teachers and coaches who have said stuff like this infront of kids and are they fired ? No they have not. Us as students have heard worse from people. I will stand for what i believe in and thats for our principal to come back.

Mr. Morals deserves to be lenient in this case because of temporary emotion. I request that school to acquit him.

He meant well. At least he actually let the students practice freedom of speech! Too often that is usually not the case when high schoolers are written off as just noisy kids.. They are our future! Empower them!
