Mr. Morales has apologized for using inappropriate language in the heat of the moment and has paid a price for his mistake. He is working towards instituting restorative justice at the school- use this opportunity as an example of how that works and bring him back into right relations with the MHS community!

Trump states nothing but racist and sexist remarks and he becomes our next president. Mr. Morales speaks the truth and he gets put on administrative leave? Something is not right here! Please sign this petition, to help Mr. Morales get his job back. Nobody deserves to lose their job for speaking the truth.

I've worked closely with Principal Morales toward resolution of an issue where a teacher was acting inappropriately with my daughter. I know from this experience that he is a thoughtful man of faith and a strong advocate for the students in his care -- he wants first and foremost for them to get the education and personal development they need in the critically formative high-school years in their lives. That this man of genuine character would be angered by what has happened in our country, and therefore slip up in the emotionally-charged setting of a protest gathering organized by a large number of the students about whom he cares so much -- and who are clearly angry about what has happened in our country as well -- is understandable. He made a mistake, but I strongly believe the school board has overreacted in this case.
