Ridiculous that powder puff was taken away for the reason it was. Disappointed in Mr.Hoyt & MHS administration.

A bunch of old, conservative school board members should not have the right to force their ancient beliefs on others. SEXUALITY is okay. HOMOSEXUALITY is okay. GUYS DRESSING UP AS CHEERLEADERS is okay. MIXING ALL THREE TOGETHER is okay. This is the 21st century. Next thing you know the school board will be requiring school uniforms to avoid clothing that is "too revealing." How pathetic. I want a school that prepares me for the future, not one that tries to shelter me with outdated ideologies of the past.

Because it's the only thing that the entire student body can enjoy together tbh

Absolutely, it should come back!!. I was present for both performances and the overreaction by administration was unnecessary.

As a person who choreographed the dance, I can tell you that we changed so much of the dance from the beginning so it would be appropriate!

We need to keep powder puff. It's something that everybody loves and is not forced upon anybody. If we can have cheerleaders, we can have powder puff, it's the same thing.

Get over it! It's a tradition just because little "sexual" things happened. Hey guess what we learned about sex in 8th grade... Their in high school going to college...really... Worry about your pot smoking kids

As an alumnus of MHS, I am appalled that the tradition of Powder Puff Football was taken away. Anything that builds camaraderie and community should be encouraged. This activity was one of these activities.

This administration is disgusting, at best, at times. Principal should be ashamed for spewing out such nonsense in a place like Manhattan. Have some class! Maybe speak to the students and adults in charge in private instead of getting everyone all riled up by such nonsense. Please think next time! I fully support Powder Puff football at MHS!

What the heck. If it were girls doing this, it would become absolutely okay. No one would blink an eye while people sexualized women. When guys do it, it's nasty and should never be done again. Think again.

Getting rid of Powerpuff is a disgusting homophobic move by this school board...and that's unacceptable. If guys switching gender roles and partaking in a high school activity normally associated with homosexuals makes the school feel "uncomfortable" that's alarming. I thought we as a society were better than that. SHAME ON YOU school board!! What happened to equal rights and respect?? I strongly urge the schoolboard to reconsider.

Powderpuff cheerleaders are honestly my favorite people in the world. They are the greatest guys ever.
