A and E has finally realized their mistake and reinstated Phil to the show. Seeing 962 of you back this fight for our constitutional rights confirms that common sense still has a place in this country. We secured the win but we must keep an eye on these networks to …
For those that may not know, I just learned that Phil Robertson of Duck Dynasty has been suspended from the show because of a comment he made about gay marriage. This is a fine example of how political correctness is decaying our Constitutional rights at the core. We have the right to free speech, and freedom to express our religion publicly. The more we allow political correctness, the more we are going to see things like this happen. Please sign my petition today, and let A&E know that we won't accept this act of unnecessary discipline to a man that was only practicing, and exercising his freedoms.
Phil has always stood by his faith and it hurts to see him punished for his beliefs. We are getting very near the 500 signature mark so please post this link to your social media profiles right now.

Watching this signature count climb reminds me that so many of you value the same freedoms that Phil was standing up for. We are nearing the first hundred names and I need you to keep pushing so the network understands they cannot silence our values.

This is American and, we have a right to state our opinion withought fear of punishment! What Mr. Robertson said was not hate speech. He did not say that homosexuals should be hurt in anyway, and in fact coupled homosexuality with other sins. A@E has lost me as a viewer!

Shame on u A&E! Phil has a right to voice his opinion and his beliefs just like the people who are accusing him of bashing gays. He simply stated the truth according to his religion. If our president had said such a thing or the Pope himself things would be diffrent!

Why can the LBGT community have the right to free speech, but the minute someone else shares their opinion that is different from them that they have to be punished. This is injust and with all of the anti-bullying going on in America, its seems that are promoting it.

The thing that this is about is freedom of speech. All A&E would have to done was put up a scrolling banner that said his thoughts are not theirs. INSANE!!!! Yet again taking good people off of TV and keeping the trash!

We teach our children to take a stand AGAINST bullying! This is bullying to the core! Phil said exactly what he believes in by his faith and the network is trying to bully him into a retraction. Move on Phil to another network!
