The mayor of new Orleans makes me sick every time I travel and tell people I'm from New Orleans they ask me what's wrong with your city and it's mayor any time something offends someone we must get rid of it god forbid if we don't please them

You are removing the beautiful reasons Nola is so charming. We used to visit four times a year but no more. U r an idiot mayor, people left Nola bc of hurricanes. Who made you God?

I was raised in New Orleans and St. Bernard parish Louisiana and I believe taking this part of history down is a discrace to those who faugt for our freedom. I'm moving back to St. Bernard parish soon and I would love to see this monument there when I arrive.

So this is what the Mayor of New Orleans Mayor Mitch Landrieu thinks...t the Confederate monuments to be declared a public nuisance . Maybe someone should start a questionnaire on what people think of Mitch. I think PGT Beauregard Statue should be where he will be appreciated and respected and that is in Saint Bernard Parish.
