My brother and I have been raised by our dad Martin Nicks since 1998, we do not see our mother and she has not been a part of our lives since losing custody of us to my dad in 1998, my name is Christian Nicks and I am 17 years old, my brother is Nicholas Nicks and he is 16 years of age.In 2005 our dad was convicted of a felony which he served 8 months of a one year sentence, our dad has been a loving caring father and has never given up on my brother and I even though times as a single dad for him were not always easy, he always provided us with a roof over our heads food in our stomachs and most of importantly love and care, doing the job of both a mother and father on his own. In August of this year our dad was deported back to England after being a legal US taxpaying resident for 36 years for his mistake he made in 2005, we are all devistated, he was sent back with two suitcases to his name after being held for four months in a detention center for illegal immigrants. we miss our dad and now have not only no mother, but now our dad has been taken from us, our dad is loved and adored by many people including freinds, family and his church congregation at faith lutheran in Capo beach, California. We would like to get as many signatures on this petition as possible to bring our dad back home to his children where he belongs. If you know my dad you will know what a kind and honest soul he has and how much he has helped people, and taken in any number of our freinds over the years that have needed a place to stay.If you dont know our dad then you are missing out on a great man.
