This is a petition of and for all students in the Merced Unified School District, we are petitioning to get Organic foods in our food services to promote healthier natural diets for our students and future generations.
As a vegetarian, I strongly encourage healthier foods that every student would enjoy.

Oh Teresa, but you are incorrect, organic foods have statistically been proven to decrease the possibility of getting cancer and they reduce the risk coronary artery disease, the district does have money, do a little extensive research and the district would pay the relatively same amount for organic foods as they would for the foods they are currently feeding us. The district would also get additional funding from the organic children foundation which encourages organic foods for the younger population.

But Eric the district can't afford this we'd just get even less food.
Also "organic" is not synonymous with "healthier"
