Final supporters
The people of Rutherford County, the Blackman Community, parents, students and faculty of Blackman High School and others from afar, demand the Rutherford County Sheriffs Office, SRO Division, to bring Officer Martin back to Blackman High School. We feel that he was unnecessarily and unjustifiably reassigned to another school, with no significant reason. He is established at Blackman, and has exceptional rapport with the students and faculty. He has proven himself to keep this school safe at all costs, while educating and mentoring to the youth. He has fully invested his time and heart with 2,200 kids, who do not want to see him leave. This affects the entire community. With five years experience in the SRO Division, Officer of the Year Award among numerous others, and a Bachelors Degree, he DESERVES a choice in this matter. HIS SHOES CANNOT BE FILLED! We have a voice, and will make sure its heard. BRING OFFICER MARTIN BACK TO BLACKMAN, WHERE HE BELONGS!!!! Once a blaze, always a blaze!

He was a great man who brought professionalism and mentorship to Blackman, he has spoken to me and many other students words of wisdom that still to this day I follow. He helped me get on this path that has brought me great success and promise of a greater future.
Officer Martin always is kind but disciplined with the students and my child respects him as a position of authority and also an admirabLe adult. Officer Martin's face is one that is always a pleasure to see, as you witness his interaction with the students and adults within the Blackman community. Please retain Officer Martin to the BHS family.
why was he reassigned without informing we the parents with kids at Blackman HS to begin with? I hesitate to trust a law enforcement office and school administration that are not transparent in their reasons for changing the guard of our children ...
Out of people who go to work everyday for a paycheck you have removed a man who goes to work to actually impact young lives. Officer Martin really is one of the best mentors for youth I have ever seen and I am glad to have him in my children's lives. Blackman High was better for having him there.
He has truly been a blessing to my family. And has helped my sister and guided her when she really needed it. And always been kind to my family. It would not be the same with out him at Blackman High school. He needs to come back.

I love this man!! Kind hearted he and his wife coach my daughter in softball and is wonderful he's the kind of person I want my kids around and learn from . As a parent you always worry about your child but I'll be the first to say when he has a child or children my worry for them is a whole lot less!!
