I have used this product since 1944 and my Mother and Grandmother before me. The cream is the best for sunburns, bug bites and cuts and abrasions. I still have a bit left and I hoard it for use when nothing else works It’s especially needed now that dermatologists are recommending the disuse of antibiotics. Bring back this amazing ointment. My family has used Obtundia Cream for more decades than I care to think about--I am 70 years old and it has been a staple in my medicine cabinet since I married. I use it sparingly but would dearly love to be able to get more. A propos of the petition letter, my parents planned to be at the Cocoanut Grove on a date the night of the tragedy in 1942 but decided to go to another nightclub instead. I was interested to learn that Obtundia was available to the survivors. It is a fabulous product.

This was the best for healing minor cuts and scrapes. Took the pain away immediately. Our family used it for years and was so sad to see it be taken off the market.

I always turned to Obtundia as the first choice for the cuts and scrapes of childhood. Obtundia had some quantity that seemed to let the wound clean itself no matter how much dirt got in because of the circumstances causing the wound. Say you fell rounding second base and got infield dirt in a wound. Even if you went home immediately, by the time you got home, there would be a scab and dirt would be in it. You could reopen the wound and scrub it if you could put up with the pain, or you could wash it and put on Obtundia and let Obtundia do its thing. The area, including the scab, would soften, and when you put on some new Obtundia, you could wipe off the old material and take the softened material, including the dirt that got locked in the scab, along with it. Obtundia also seemed super effective at blocking infection. It covered the wound with an ointment germs did not like. I was sorry when Obtundia stopped being sold because it was so superior to all other products. I hope it comes back and I hope the advertising will show how superior the product is so that your sales justify keeping the product on the shelf.

This medication is a miricle my family and I have used all my life, till now. My mom was forever saying "Put Obtundia on it" it must come back!
