Bring Nancy Drew gameplay back to what it used to be.

Please, bring back the old Nancy Drew games. They were amazing. I don't mind at all about the new recent games.

Please return to the original formula of Nancy Drew games! 1. Downsize the commentary between characters from fluff to something substantial to the actual mystery. Perhaps even something witty? 2. Easter Eggs....we need more - and can we add them to our inventory?3. Puzzles: what happened to all of the puzzles? Something fun, then something more complicated- it’s all about balance. 4. The voice of Nancy needs to change to someone more expressive and believable for the main character. She sounds bored and flat. I am sure she is a great person, but not the best actress for this series. What was wrong with Lani?5. Hidden passages. Maybe a variety of passages that are not all the same? Maybe one is dangerous? 5. A few references to Sonny Join never hurt. 6. The mouse interface and inventory need to be adjustable for the player. Perhaps a ‘classic mode’ or ‘modern mode’ for snooping? Classic mode gives us the magnifying glass, and the modern mode gives the arrow for players who prefer it. It is 2020. Not 1998. This is possible for a company to produce when they have old templates already designed. Perhaps this would save time too? In short - if it’s not broken, don’t fix it. Improve it with time, don’t destroy it in one game and spend 4 years making us wait for poor quality.

I started playing these games over 10 years ago and I have to say the first 13 are probably better than any new ones that have come out simply based on the narrative and environment aesthetics. I also appreciate Nancy as a character much more, and the unique personalities of the characters she investigates. Favorite games: Curse of Blackmoor Manor, Final Scene, Treasure in a Royal Tower

Please, Midnight in Salem didn't feel like a Nancy Drew, didn't run correctly on my laptop, and generally looked dull and unfinished. I grew up playing Nancy Drew games with my sister, and I miss them. They were easy and fun to play, whereas with this new design I just ended up feeling frustrated.

HER games were amazing, then MID came out... Seriously what were they thinking? Did everyone forget how they promised this game "in VR" as well?? Yeah, that clearly didn't happen.

So true, Nancy Drew was fine just the way it was. Been playing since I can remember, the games have so much nostalgia, and would absolutely love to have them back the way they were.

Oh my god YES PLEASE. Midnight in Salem was hands down the worst $30 I ever gave to Her Interactive. Don’t fix what ain’t broke!

The game seemed rushed and the graphics were worse when compared to the last ND game, Sea of Darkness. The original games were charming, and unfortunately MID just missed the mark for mr and many other fans. Bring back the old engine, homies.

YES!!!!! MIS was so unsatisfying and not at all what I or my friends who play want! Really difficult to play and just totally took away from the experience of the game. Bring back the old format!!!!

I own all Nancy Drew games with exception of MID. I am all for game evolution, staff changes, and open world changes, but you need to release something playable. Pay some local and talented game developers and artists instead of off shoring all jobs to foreigners who know nothing about the series. You get what you pay for. I am not paying for game that no one made much of an effort on. Learn from your mistakes and make an effort on your next game if you want to see any profit. Bring back Nancy Drew.
