EA Sports finally heard us and officially announced a new MVP Baseball project is in development. This victory belongs to all 883 of you who kept the pressure on them. Keep an eye on their social media channels for the official trailer drop.
Back in 2005 EA Sports made a baseball game called MVP Baseball. At the time it was very advanced and had some features that MLB 13 the Show still does not have, including build your own ballpark, Single A teams, arguing calls and even charging the mound. Instead of explaining everything, check out the intro to the game: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=59wjU8rGBTU
Some people argue that it would be hard for EA Sports because they have not developed a baseball game in almost 9 years and they would have to start from scratch, however EA developed a game for Korea that shows the potential a EA Sports MLB game has. Check it out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DW7k7Q1w6-M
EA Sports has a good opportunity with next gen coming up and 2k most likely not renewing their MLB license. This would give Xbox fans no baseball games and MLB the Show no competition. If you want to make a difference and bring back one of the greatest sports gaming franchise of all time, make sure you sign and share this petition!
The momentum behind our push for a new MVP Baseball title is real. Now I need you to email your local sports gaming journalist and link them to this page. Tell them why the industry needs this franchise back on the field.

EA is simply the best at sports games and this is what they should be doing. MLB needs the compition cause MLB the Show is just the same thing every year. When there is more than one game of any type of sport each company comes up with more things to make each game better

Greatest game ever made by EA, spent hours playing this with my dad (for whom I got this game on fathers day). MVP 05 was my childhood and it's something I'd like to be able to pass on years from now to my own kids.

I need an MLB game for my Xbox 1!! Basbeall games have always been a staple in my rotation, and being a Xoboc gamer my whole life, I cannot just make the transition to Sony that easy. Bring back MVP Baseball!! The X1 community needs it!

Any halfway decent baseball game would do well on the XBOX One. Add in PC with potential mod support and avid fans willing to do actual minor league roster updates (much like in The Show) and it will generate money. I need my baseball! :(

No 3D baseball games on the Xbox this year, and I'm highly disappointed. MVP Baseball was fantastic and would be a much better Xbox option than RBI Baseball or 2K. EA Sports has the games modes and the next-gen Ignite Engine that could make a successful game with potential in years to come.

I still waste hours of my life updating rosters for MVP 05 every single year. 2K baseball is terrible! I would have no problem paying 50 bucks for a new MVP game, so I don't have to update my 05 rosters every year.
