Ms. May was able to establish such a meaningful and sincere connection will all of her students from the first day of school! I remember being nervous the first day back to school after remote learning, and I had graphic design first thing in the morning. Ms. May made me remember why I loved going to school. It’s the people that make it all so enjoyable.

Personally, Ms. May has always been there for me. She had continuously made me feel welcomed in and safe her class. It’s heartbreaking to lose her, especially as our only photography and graphic design teacher. This is incredibly unfair. Bring back Ms. May.

She is an amazing teacher and in all my years as a student she a such a great teacher her teaching was always so understandable. Her energy always lit up the room and was always able to speak to her and her the help I needed for a assignment or just advice she doesn’t deserve to be in the Jmsa family who's she been with for a while now and is student have build so much trust and care for this teacher SO PLEASE BRING HER BACK!!!!!

I love the initiative the school is taking to keep this well loved teacher! Petitions have been statistically known to help stop causes. WOW! What a generation this is! LMAO! #KEEPMSMAYATJMSA This is why the liberal arts needs funding #USA

Ms. May was a really nice and caring teacher. She knew how teach and have fun at the same time. She loved her students to death and so did we. Ms. May doesn’t deserve to be transferred like that. WE NEED HER!

I love Ms.May soo much. Everyday, when I go to school I always look forward to having her 9th period because she always made my day better and brightened up all of her students. She loves and cares for her kids so much and she is so proud of them. She made sure no kid was left behind and if you had any problems she would make sure she could help or impact you in a positive way. I love Ms.May and I hope they bring her back:( <3

Her presence made me stay in the class. I already have an art class and don’t need this one. Without her I’m thinking of dropping the class entirely because I don’t see anybody replacing her teaching and the environment she built. As a student I do not support her removal.
