When we learned that Mr. Best was leaving school the 21 st Century after school program at School # 6 there was a feeling of loss and disappointment. He is one of the most caring teachers ever and it is important to us that we have him here. Mr. Best brings good vibes wherever he goes. We have felt the love from Mr. Best each and every day. His presence supersedes the walls of School 6. We don’t understand why anyone would take that away from us.

When it is hard to find an adult that understands (and that happens often) we can always depend on Mr. Best for understanding and guidance. It means a lot to see him in our community and schools. Our time with him is not only filled with fun but life lessons that taught us the seriousness of staying focused and setting goals. Mr. Best showed us how to value each other and the people in our community so that we can help each other. In us Mr. Best planted a seed that helped us see the potential of where we live.
You see we are important to him too and lucky for us that we are because Mr. Best makes everything lit. Mr. Best is our friend, gym teacher, helping hand and community participant, may he please stay.
