When doing a good deed, we should not have to worry about the repercussions. Ms. Mitts has always been a wonderful and compassionate teacher, and it saddens me that this has caused her to lose her job. Please give Ms. Mitts her job back before people decide to stop doing good deeds all together.

Good Lord what has happened to people these days. No wonder this world is in the shape that it is because someone always wanting to make things difficult for someone when they do a good deed. You don't have enough caring teachers these days. There only there to get a paycheck and don't take the time to be more involved with there students

Jennifer can easily be compared to the character that Robin Williams portrayed in the movie Dead Poets Society. She's very passionate about the studies and is close to her "kids." She's not only a teacher, but a mentor and enjoys counseling students and helping them. She gives them lunch money so they can eat, buys them prom dresses, shoes obviously going above and beyond. Teaching is not a "job" to her, it's in her heart. She's constantly getting loads of texts from her kids who miss her and want her back. She was planning on taking some students to a writers conference at the end of March and now that is also cancelled. What a true travesty for both her and her students alike.

I believe the princible needs be fired because if we had more teachers liked this that cared so much about her students, our kids then the schools would be alot better. She should have never been fired espically if she had permission and if she was paying the bill for the kid that they thought had pneumonia, it didn't come out of anyone elses pocket. I am so glad she is the woman she is. I pray that she gets her job back and that school should be glad that they have a person like her their.

That is wrong for him to do that. She did nothing but help those kids. She should have her job back. I love Ms. Mitts and she is the reason some of the students from red bank graduated. She is one of the nicest teachers there and should not have been given an ultimatum on whether to resign or be fired. That was just wrong.

Mrs.Mitts was a great teacher when I had her my freshman year and we really enjoyed her class. With all of these signatures, there's obviously a lot of people that feel the same.

If the student wanted to go and she was 20 yrs. old. How could the teacher be in the wrong. And then the teacher paid all the bill. Did the parents get mad or was it just the school. If my child was sick and a teacher did that. I would not be angry. Sounds like a great teacher who cares about her students.
