Smh, why wouldn't information about this case be given to the mother at her request? There should be dialogues all around, the mother and cops, cops and the public and the public and the mother to an extent. It's been 24 years and it feels like she just vanished. That's a small town. Someone knows something.

Melanie went missing the same night my grandmother died on the 29th of September 1996. It’s time to find her so she can Rest In Peace and her family can get the closure they need.

This family needs closure. We are in a time unlike any other and if the family wants this to be released, then at this point in time 24 years later, it needs to be done. There are reasons that this is the right time. Please do what is right.

I find it very unusual that Celine Ethier has never been given any information whatsoever regarding her daughter Melanie’s case. Police always release some sort of information package to the family and public when someone disappears. They also tend to release more info the longer the case is inactive and on anniversaries of the missing person. Someone who had info was interviewed in a driveway?? Are the police hiding pertinent information or busy hiding all the mistakes they made in Melanies missing person case. Please do better for the Ethier’s.
