"Media Studies as a school subject is likely to equip young people with just the critical perceptions they need to survive in today's society. Indeed, the biggest influence on them is likely to be what they see on television, download from the internet or read in the tabloids." (Michael Russell, Tiems Educational Supplement, 14 January 2005) Media Studies (EMS 3O0) has been removed from the PCSS course selection calendar, although many students have expressed a great interest in taking the course. We, the undersigned, believe Media Selection is a very important course, and would like to see it back on the course selection calendar.
