During this tough period for us students, RMIT has continually disappointed and undervalued our quality of learning. Despite multiple emails, surveys, and the elimination of COVID-19 in Victoria, we still are potentially set for another semester of full online learning for no justifiable reason. Given the current government guidelines, being that there are no density limits on classrooms in universities, the decision dictating our learning seems to be an internal one from RMIT. This can be confirmed by the fact that other universities are looking to or have already brought back their students enrolled in similar courses. Whether you notice your motivation and results decreasing, are unhappy with the quality of online classes or even miss bonding with classmates, please consider adding your Full name (First and Last) and RMIT Email along with your student number (with the s) and your course name to this petition (please put student # and course name in comments section). Together we can stand up for ourselves and present an undoubtedly strong case to to RMIT, whilst every other university continues or reintroduces in class learning for an overwhelming majority of their students. Most effected students are enrolled in Applied Maths and Stats, however we welcome students from other maths/analytics/statistics courses to join this push for better learning.
