When this show started I was in 5th or 6th grade, and then it ended I was in 9th or 10th. This show had a large role in shaping my early adolescent years, as well as shaping the person I was to become. It will forever hold a very special place in my heart for teaching me that it's okay to be nerdy like Casey, it's okay to be a girl and kick ass at sports like Lizzie, you should stick up for people you love even if it might hurt your reputation like Derek, you should always dream big like Edwin, and you are never too old to play pretend with a stuffed monkey.
