Lester has been officially cleared to return to Boston. I am grateful to each of the three hundred people who supported this effort throughout the process. We will continue to observe the situation to ensure this outcome remains permanent.

PLEASE COME BACK. My fiancé and I were so upset when you were traded. The first Red Sox game I watched at Fenway, you pitched and you have been our favorite ever since. Boston loves you Lester!!!
PLEASE COME HOME JON. Fenway isnt the same without you on the mound.
Lester belongs in a Sox uniform period. Letting him walk was the biggest mistake the front office made in years.

Bring him back he is me and my 13 year old sons favorite pitcher . My son pitches for marshfield travel team and idolizes Lester .
