As a recent alumna, I wholeheartedly support this cause and am very proud of those working to make this happen. Ethnic studies programs are empowering and enlightening to all students, and I truly believe Washington University in St. Louis would become a stronger, more inclusive institution by offering Latino and Brazilian studies.

Long overdue. Representation matters. The under represented groups at our institution could absolutely benefit from this as our recruitment efforts as a university. Yes, yes, yes!
