Poseidon belongs with his family he has spent his life with them, there s no good reason why he should not be allowed to go home to the love he will never have with anyone else. Be human and have a heart allow him the right to go back home to the loving home he has only known.

The dog should be kept by the officer. He HAS A FAMILY; he is a k9 but has a family. So many K9 dogs were mishandled by his partners. This officer WANTS TO CARE for his k9 partner. What could be more rewarding for the dog than BEING CONSIDERED A PART OF A FAMILY❓❓Let’s PRAY for a reasonable atitude from the city’s officials and the return of Poseidon to HIS FUREVER FAMILY‼️

Yet another example of worrying about the “rules” instead of doing what’s right. Dogs can feel emotional pain, in case you didn’t realize that. If you do know and don’t care, I sure as hell wouldn’t want you running my police department. Heartless.

When a dog bonds with a human it is a bond that is unbreakable why wouldn't you allow Officer Patterson to lawfully adopt Poseidon? Don't you folks realize Poseidon belongs with his family?
