There's no reason why they shouldn't be allowed to keep Poseidon ... they are willing to pay and donate so much ... Poseidon won't perform after such a traumatic heartbreak.

This is extremely wrong and unjust! This innocent dog with feelings is traumatized and suffering greatly from this absurd and disgusting power play decision to remove him from the family he knows and loves. Apparently, the department does not care about the emotional welfare of Poseidon who worked loyally and hard for the department. Poseidon belongs to the family he knows and loves, the Patterson family. Do the RIGHT and MORAL thing, give Poseidon back to his loving family; and cut the power play bull crap!

Even local politicians just want power and. control this man is a disgrace and should be out of office give this family their dog back and give the dog his family back they are ready and willing to pay for everything. Talk about inhumane treatment its obvious its not about money its about a power hungry politician wanting to be in total control. Shameful!!!!

Dogs arent "property" they are like family.they feel just like us.an i cant imagine the trama hes feeling from being seperated.they are our kids in a way.an i hope that you all have him back soon.i have 3 dogs an one is my sons dog that we are takin care of.hes 6 yrs old.an im his grandma.they are my family.an my heart goes out to you. Come on...do what is best for the pup and the family!!! I am so Sick of reading everyday about dogs being shot and killed by police for no reason. I am So sick of reading about k9 handlers leaving their k9 in hot cars and dying. I know There are great police out there but here is a chance for you to do the right thing for this pup. Do it!!!!!

Shame on you...he has offered to pay and replace. What is wrong with society today, what about the right thing for the dog. And the only family he has known. A broken dog is no use to you.
