I think she is great. She brought enthusiasm to the broadcast. She was serious when she had to be but the 2 pieces referenced were light. An old cranky reporter who is has been really shouldn't have that much on influence of where the station needs to go in this new digital age of media. Either roll with the new age or retire.

That a rising talent like Julie is fired for something like this is a travesty. But what can you expect from a station that builds its news team around an anchor whose schmaltzy crap is beyond boring, one meteorologist whose reports drag and are weighed down with supposedly funny remarks, and another one who feeds off all that schmaltziness - and an investigativer reporter who lost his touch a long time ago? Julie Tremmel will survive and thrive - and she'll do it without these "anchorws" weighing her down!

I watch 10 news every night, love it! I saw Julie's bear report, and got a good chuckle. The on air reporters Dan, Patrice, and even the weathermen all share a good laugh every now and then, that's what I like about them all, they are human, not stuffed shirts. Keep Julie.

With so much bad news all the the, what's wrong with some lighthearted fun to make the viewers smile now and again!
This woman is the real deal. Smarts, style, and the self confidence and sense of humor that more people in the industry should have, and what more of us want to see. I think she is fantastic.
