You nut-jobs fired Julie Tremmel, who is a terrific reporter because she did a HANDSTAND? But, you keep the annoying dufus Barbara Morse Silva and Allison Bologna, who can't pronounce foreign names or places????? YOU should be fired!

It was incredibly stupid to fire Julie for such a stupid reason. WJAR needs to rehire her because she is one of their better reporters, and I think she did a good job with the report and in trying to bring interest to "America's Got Talent." Until they bring Julie back I'm watching WPRI.

Lighten up News Team at WJAR....the afternoon news is depressing enough every day....give us some relief, her segments were refreshingly lighthearted. Bring her back for uplifting segments...now watch Channel 12.....

I seriously have no idea in this day an age why a reporter would be fired for being light hearted while doing a story on "America's Got Talent". She was an asset to your station and you should rethink your decision.

why wasn't he let go to ???. o i know he has a lot of time there.so they let a good reporter go for doing something on the air that has to do with the story she was reporting on what was his story about. this is just poor poor judgement.give her the job back this is one of the stupidest thing.

Was this NBC's way of cutting back, because I thought she did a good job with that story,and who is the judge here...The news is so depressing now,that a little humor goes a long way.

Just because no one else on that very old staff of Ch 10 can't do a handstand that's not Julie's fault ok Jay Leno great guy loved his show but at the end Jay even said .. I can't get up there and play and sing and dance like Jimmy when he is up on stage with Timberlake or Jay Z or Bruce Springsteen ... Jay knew it was time to go . Julie is just trying to keep up with the times . She never "showed" any body part . Yes news but it was about a talent show not Putan threatening to blow up the world . Then at that point maybe the handstand would have been in bad taste . Grow up and move on its 2014 . Look at all the Crap the today show does every morning and let me tell you most of that is vulgar and in bad taste and timing . Just think about all news outlets hundreds you were lucky to have Julie to help you stand out from the rest . With not only her handstands but with he knowledge of the situation at hand . She tells me the facts and lets me decided for myself how I feel about the event . She dose'nt tell me what I should be thinking . When she is asked questions she always has an answer at the ready . The woman does her homework . The network should beg her to come back . She made me feel like our news was currant not just small town . They put a new stop sign in on Broadway .. Beg her to come back . I've lived here my whole life I've seen them all . Julie is a breath of fresh air in the old New England state I am 45 . I'm not dead yet. Her and Mark Serals are the best thing that has happened to Ch 10 in years . Such a shame . Such a shame
